III,9 (cont) - the Father Abraham, then one had to appeal to the Memory which was preserved in the Blood. Now, irrespective of blood ties one can reach the TRUTH, not, as then by developing the consciousness of the Racial Soul & by that means finally arriving at that of the Universal Soul, but directly, each individual for himself or herself by gaining conscious contact with the CHRIST FORCE. Everything that we say, our whole method & all our instructions deal with but one thing & point to but one thing which in itself is the Philosopher's Stone. This applies to all our instructions, Krypt, Hexagrammaton, Logick, Rites, etc, for there is only one thing worth dealing with or discussing & that is the CHRIST.
The Higher Ego begins to be born at a certain point in the life of every man or woman & when it is born it speaks the Truth. Some minds however do not listen to the voice of truth but in so far as they do they grow spiritually. Truth is Universal & the most universal Truth now is of course the Christ & consequently this has but one name, one true name & this one true name applies to but one thing, it cannot be applied to any other particularly but universally it is applied to all. That is to say, that there is but one CHRIST, but the truth about Christ is the same truth about everything else. A name cannot indeed be truly universal unless it is singular or individual. There is but one supreme God & that is the CHRIST. In the old testament we find the command that "Thou shalt not have any other Gods before me". We obey this command, for the one who uttered it is the CHRIST, yet He was not then present in the world as a physical being.
The Force of the Christ is the Universal Panacea, it solves all problems & will unite men in Peace & is the only force which can bring about Universal Peace. It is opposed by the force which tends to bring about the war of all against all. It works upon the world as a whole by creating a community of interests, & language & the more & more people have the same things in common the nearer we approach to universal peace & this is brought about by the forces of Language. Language is the expression of Spirit & the more spiritual force is in language the more universal & true it becomes. As the physical body dies the spiritual body grows. One must have reverence for gray hairs which indicate that the being is discarding its personal & assuming impersonal attributes & in many cases what the ignorant consider to be second childhood would be regarded quite differently if they could transcend their own prejudices & believe that the human being is by no means confined to his earthly shell.
